The Story of Alex

Alex is a 28 years old young man, he was diagnosed with autism at the age of 6 at the Texas Children Hospital in Houston. With the extraordinary dedication of his parents, throughout the years, Alex received many therapies, such as orthophony, applied behavior analysis, animal intervention with horses, everything was done to improve Alex's coordination, speech capabilities and above all self-confidence.

Alex followed a normal school curriculum and with the kind assistance of his teachers, completed his studies and pursued, with success, an Assistant-Coach education cursus for Basket-Ball.

Alex has many talents, born to a Greek mother and a French father, Alex expresses himself in Greek and understands, French and English, he loves music and he is a member of a choir, which he attends every week. He remains a kin basket-ball player and if he does not pass the ball too often, he is a gifted shooter! Alex loves the water and, living in Greece, can spend hours swimming in the Aegean Sea.

Alex loves to travel and has visited, with his parents many countries including the US, Asia, Middle-East and Europe, He is an epicurean and loves food.

Alex, with his grandfather "Papou" tutoring, is now creating art in various forms.
